Craft off the cuff and other fun stuff! The life and times of a mom of 2 with a love of all things hand-made, anything old, some things new and a we can make that mentality. It's the little moments shared with my family and friends, creating, talking, laughing and living that mean the most.

Chalk +H2O = Chalk Paint
A Very simple project: Chalk from the dollar store. Let it sit in water for about 5 min or more. It turns into a liquid paint. You can use your hand your feet of a paint brush to decorate the sidewalk or even yourself.

A wee bit of history about me
There was a time not so long ago that I would sit in the studio for 12 hours a day . I would work for weeks on hand printing and creating yardage of fabric to create my bags from. It was an amazing time in my life, to have no obligations and to be free to create, it was awsome. I attended a work study at Penland School of Craft and sold my hand-made wares at festivals and through local shops. It was a great time!Life changes and grows and it passed very quickly. I got married to an amazing man, we had one beautiful daughter and then a handsome son. Along the way I have met amazing people and learned about what really matters to me in my life. I figured out that no matter what is going on in my life I have to be creative. Sometimes that means creating collections of bags or scarves to sell and other times it may mean using my creativity to do fun projects with my kids. I have come to the conclusion that all of these are important a part of who I am and should be celebrated.
